Couscous
Couscous is a dish of small steamed balls of semolina usually served with a stew spooned on top. It can be served with vegetables (carrots, potatoes, turnips etc) cooked in a spicy or mild broth and meat, generally chicken, lamb or mutton. The original name is derived from the Berber word 'Keskes' which refers to the cooking pot in which the dish is prepared.
