Apple Sauce
It is often used as an accompaniment to a main course, usually as a condiment for roast pork. It can also be of an accompaniment to potato pancakes or potato fries. Sometimes it is served as a dessert alone at room temperature or used in making sauce cake. It has been suggested that it can substitute fat in baking.
